We are delighted to launch another service as part of our commitment to your child’s Safeguarding.
Our new ‘BIG Red Button’ can be found on the front of our website and is designed to allow children, and adults, to report concerns that they have anonymously. Principal, Mr. Thompson, said, “In a few cases, for a variety of reasons, children feel unable to talk to either their parents or teachers about concerns that they might have. Technology gives them a third avenue along which to seek help.”
The reporting system is monitored by the Safeguarding team, led by Mrs. Harvey, with alerts being emailed directly to an appropriate member of staff who can act to support children from the moment the message is received.
Whilst the new system does allow for comments to be posted anonymously, if children are able to leave their name it does give those investiagting worries children have the chance to keep them updated.
