The time has come to vote and elect your Student Voice committee.
Please take your time, read through each candidates inspirational reasoning and watch their videos about why they would like to be a part of the Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy Student Voice. (Ask your parent/carer if you need help reading each pupils statement).
Candidate 1 – Abbey A (Year 4)
I think I would be good for the job because I think it is very important everyone has a voice and if something bad happens in their life, they should have a voice so they can talk to Mrs Harvey or Miss Warner or a teacher or mum or dad and they can help to make it better and help them to be heard.
Candidate 2 – Ethan H (Year 6)
I think I’d be good at student voice because of a few examples. One I’m quite confident within myself. I’m not going to lie; I did do drama school, so I think I’d be able to memorize the words. Thank you for this opportunity for the part. Thank you muchly.
Candidate 3 – Isabell M (Year 6)
I think I would make an amazing voice to represent our academy because I have great people skills and I feel passionate about giving shy students the voice they deserve. There’s no point in having a voice if it can’t be heard. I can help them speak out.
Candidate 4 – Lucas W (Year 5)
Please can I be a student voice because I’m very honest on our school and I get along with lots of children. I was also school council before, and I loved it. I would really want to do something like that again also I am a very helpful boy when I can be.
Candidate 5 – Katie W (Year 6)
Hello, I am Katie, and I would like nothing more than to be the voice of Edward Worlledge. Many children around the world have not been able to go to school during these touch times if I get this role, I will work closely with the adults in the academy to ensure that all the children deserve the education they are entitled too. I want to ensure that both children and visitors not only feel welcome but also feel safe at our academy. Please vote for me to be your voice of Edward Worlledge.
