The emotional health and wellbeing of all pupils, staff and parents at Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy is fundamental to our philosophy and ethos of valuing everyone, caring for each other and achieving excellence. We have a whole school approach to prompting positive emotional health and well being with support for every pupil as stated in the Rights of the Child article 24 “every child has the right to the best possible health”.
Our aim is to promote a positive mental health and wellbeing which will help the children to understand and express their feelings, build their emotional confidence and resilience and enhance their opportunities to learn.
