5 Great Things at Worlledge this Week!

8th March 2019

So what’s been happening at Worlledge this week……….

Endeavour are currently the only class in the WHOLE academy to have 100% attendance for a full week! Congratulations to all those in Mr Smith’s class, your hard work and determination has paid off, keep up the good work.

World Book Day this week at Edward Worlledge, massive thanks to all pupils and parents for your support! We had so much going on but it all came together, with prizes for best dressed in each year group, prizes for the best baked themed cake and a whole handful of activities throughout the day.

You still have until Monday 11th March at 3:00pm to bring in your decorated spoon, the winner will be drawn the following day.

Massive thanks for all those who helped us with collecting the Books4Schools tokens; we managed to collect enough for a free set of books! Check out the photo below…..

We have also signed up to the Lego tokens promotion, so please continue to send in tokens – they are available in all the local papers, including the Great Yarmouth Mercury.

Don’t forget you have until 15th March to hand in your orders, or order online for the Scholastic Book Fair. 25p from each sale is repaid to the academy in rewards, the means we are able to get more free reading equipment for your children. Any questions, please pop in and speak to the academy office.

Our new Enrichment Club has premiered this week, TT Rockstars was a massive hit with all who attended – trying to best their own scores, beat their friends and earn coins and points to help with their class wars! Still plenty of spaces available, ring the office to book your place!
