26th April 2019
Welcome back to Edward Worlledge, start of the summer term this week. We have lots of upcoming exciting events happening this term – plenty of trips, visits and visitors!
As we start another new term we are on the countdown for SATs, both for Year 2 and Year 6. Please encourage them to read regularly at home and remind them to use their SATs revision books. SATs for Year 6 start week commencing 13th May 2019. If you have any questions, please speak to your child’s teacher or contact the academy office.
Don’t forget that we have a new Norse Dinner Menu starting this term, with several exciting never-before-seen options! To see the full menu check out our academy website or pop into the academy office for a paper copy.
Clubs have started again this week, you would have received a text if you signed up for any clubs, letting you know if your child was allocated a place or is currently on the waiting list. Just a reminder that we ask for a small nominal fee of £1 per club. We still have spaces on some amazing clubs for this term – why not try Tennis with Mrs Casey, Science Club with Miss Sharman, Cookery with Miss Howes or Explore your Family History with Miss Cooke. For more information please contact the academy office.
Year 6’s have had their Kittles individual photographs taken today – the last ever one at Edward Worlledge! The proofs should be with us in 1 – 2 weeks. Once sent out to parents, there is the option to order either at the academy or online.
Just a quick reminder to all, the academy will be closed on Monday 6th May 2019 as this is a bank holiday.
